Here are some lessons I have learned in my 25 years on Earth and things I wish someone told me.
- Not being kind to yourself when you make mistakes is not a testament to your self-discipline.
- You’re doing life for the first time, get over yourself.
- Stop looking outside for validation.
- The world does not revolve around you but your world revolves around you.
- Bravery is learned.
- Self-confidence is built
- Keeping your promises to yourself greatly improves your confidence more than anything else.
- Life does not have to be hard before you enjoy it.
- Your friends will save your life, and nurture your friendships.
- Half empty or half full. You decide.
- Act according to the situation, not what you expect or imagine it to be.
- When people show you who they are for the first time. Believe them. Not everyone has integrity.
- Take walks, it’s good for your mental health.
- Stop overthinking your creativity and do; doing is a muscle. Your doubts go only when you try.
- You deserve a full, deep love that makes your inside happy.
- There will be prices for choosing to live on your terms when it does not work with how society wants you to live, but it’s fine because you’re well-equipped to survive and thrive.
- Never settle, build the life you want. Brick by brick.
- Everything adds up eventually.
- Whatever you avoid is coming back in a circle.
- It’s fine for people to stay in your life for a season.
- You have to do the extra work to get the extra results or get lucky.
- Not everything you desire is good for you,
- discipline will keep you safe.
- Gratitude is important
- Reward yourself
