I decided to get the Made by Mitchell Deep Curve Case after seeing so many amazing reviews on TikTok, especially when it comes to its shade range. As someone who struggles to find good bronzing and contour shades that work for my skin tone, I was curious to see if this product lived up to the hype and would be a good addition to my makeup collection.
Today, I’ll be sharing my in-depth review of the Deep Curve Case, touching on both the pros and cons to give you an honest look at whether it’s worth the investment.
First Impressions & Packaging
The packaging caught my eye immediately. It comes in a small neon green case, which is compact and perfect for travel. Despite its size, it looks like it contains a generous amount of product, which is always a plus.
One thing I noticed is that it has a fragrance, but it’s a soft one—not overpowering. As someone sensitive to strong smells, I appreciated that the scent wasn’t too intense.
Texture & Pigmentation
The texture of the Deep Curve Case is creamy, and the pigmentation is incredible. A little goes a long way, especially with the contour and blush shades. I was genuinely impressed by how much color payoff you get with just a small amount of product.
The colors blend seamlessly into my skin, and my personal favorites are Cow Lick and Where’s the SPF. Both shades are highly pigmented, buildable, and work beautifully.
Application & Versatility
I found the product to be quite multifunctional, especially for those who like to keep their makeup routine streamlined. In my YouTube video HERE, I also used the orange shade for color correction, and other shades as an eyeshadow base, and even as a lip product. It really is a versatile palette depending on how you choose to use it, making it great for travel or on-the-go looks.
Cons: A Few Things to Consider
While I love a lot about this product, there are a couple of drawbacks. First, it can get a little messy if you’re not careful, especially with the color of the packaging. The creamy texture, while great for blending, can become oily if left unchecked. However, once you set it with powder, it’s perfectly fine and long-lasting.
Price & Value
I purchased mine on TikTok during a sale for £19, but the regular price is £30. Given the pigmentation, the range of shades, and how long the product lasts, I think it’s worth the full price. The fact that it’s so multifunctional adds to its overall value, especially if you travel or like to minimize the number of products in your routine.
Final Thoughts: Will I Repurchase?
Overall, I really like the Made by Mitchell Deep Curve Case. The shade range, pigmentation, and versatility make it a great addition to my makeup collection. I’ll definitely be repurchasing this product in the future.
If you’re looking for a multifunctional product that offers great blush options, contour, bronzing, and more on deep skin tones, this might be a great fit for you or the newly released Deeper Pallete.
