I assume we all know the importance of sleep.
Sleep plays an important role in good health and well-being throughout one’s lifetime. Getting quality sleep at the right times can help protect your mental health, physical health, quality of life, and safety.
The way you feel while you’re awake depends in part on what happens while you’re sleeping. During sleep, your body is working to support healthy brain function and maintain your physical health. In children and teens, sleep also helps support growth and development.
I have been sleeping naked for years now and the only reason you’ll be surprised reading this is if you’ve not read my post on going Commando, you totally should!
Anyways, sleeping naked has been one of the best decisions I’ve made, I didn’t start by knowing the benefits of sleeping naked, I just did it once and love how I felt the next morning.
If you are like my close friend, she has never slept naked, you should totally reconsider and here’s why
Boosts Self Esteem
In a world where humans especially women are constantly being told their bodies are shameful just to sell products, it’s important to find a realm that makes you accept yourself to the fullest without lacking anything, sleeping naked shows you’ve accepted yourself /you’re accepting yourself. I smile every night before I sleep naked, I get to feel my thighs rub against each other and my breasts and every other part of my body get the freedom they deserve.
Allows Baby Girl Breathe
It’s no news that I’m a commando girl and one of the reason is because of letting my jewel breathe, I mean, why not?
Sleeping naked airs out the vagina which reduces the wetness of the vagina that can cause bacteria & yeast infection. Happy vagina – Happy female – happy sex life.
When you know that you’re sleeping on your bedspread with nothing separating it from your body, you automatically do your best to make sure your bed spreads and blankets are put in check.
Spices Up Your Sex Life
Nothing like waking up with your partner in your butt ass naked, trust me ladies. It gets him in the mood, you get in the mood and since most people love morning sex, what better way to make sure you get enough of it than sleeping naked. eh? winks.. Thank me later.
Get Better Sleep
According to The American Academy of Sleep Medicine, your body temperature naturally declines as a part of your Circadian Rhythm as you sleep deeply.
Wearing pajamas could disrupt this natural drop in temperature and, as a result, disrupt your body’s sleep cycle.
You know those 3 sec waking up to adjust your pajamas or whatever it is you wear to sleep? It will be completely gone, the only time you’ll wake up is probably when you want to use the ladies room the next day.
Freedom And Happiness
I tell you there’s nothing like sleeping nude feeling like a baby, rubbing your thighs against each other and the bed, blanket, eyes closed, smiling while you’re at it before you sleep, you get to feel the warmth of your body. It’s true freedom and gives pure happiness.
Cortisol is a strange hormone in the body. Sleeping naked keeps your body temperature at more optimal ranges so your body can make better use of cortisol and control the production of it. When people sleep in warmer temperatures their cortisol levels tend to stay high, even after they wake up. Higher levels of cortisol can lead to junk food cravings, weight gain, increased anxiety, just to mention a few.
